Music Teacher, Mrs. Kunkel

Ruth Kunkel, originally from Texas, graduated from Concordia College in Seward, Nebraska, in 1984 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Music. Since joining Calvary Lutheran in 1991, she has been a cornerstone of the school community, sharing her love for teaching and music with generations of students.

Ruth is married to her husband, Jeff, and together they have two daughters, one son, a son-in-law, and two cherished grandchildren. In her free time, she tends to her garden, loses herself in a good book, and savors moments of relaxation outdoors. A proud supporter of Kansas City sports, Ruth enthusiastically cheers for the Chiefs and Royals, bringing her vibrant spirit to every game.
