7th Grade Teacher, Mrs. Liu

Jennifer Liu, a proud Wisconsin native (and avid Packers fan), grew up in Nebraska before spending 23 years in California. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, with a minor in Special Education and endorsements in Middle School Math and Language Arts. In 2020, Jennifer and her family relocated to Kansas City, where she joined the dedicated team at Calvary Lutheran.

Married to her husband, Joseph, since 2007, Jennifer is a devoted mother to their two children, Sophia and Sean. In her free time, she loves curling up with a good book, baking delicious treats, watching movies, and cherishing moments spent with her family.

Mrs. Liu’s Favorite Things:

  • Drink: Coffee (iced or hot), Coke (regular, cherry or cherry vanilla) and Dr. Pepper
  • Treat: Chocolate (milk or dark), Ice cream, Cake, and Brownies
  • Snack: Cheese sticks, Fruit, Chips, and Pretzels
  • Places to Eat: Hawaiian Bros, Applebees, Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden and Jack Stack
  • Store: TpT, Target, Starbucks, and Walmart
  • School Supply: Pens, Post-its, Stickers, Stamps/stamp pads
  • Plants/ Flowers: Carnations

Least Favorite Things: Mugs, Candles (although she does like wax melts.)
