6th Grade Homeroom Teacher, Mrs. Schempp

Roberta Schempp is originally from Illinois and has called Kansas home for the past 32 years. She graduated from the University of Illinois in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She later attended Concordia University, River Forest, where she earned her Lutheran Teacher Diploma in 1994 and a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction in 1998. Roberta joined the Calvary Lutheran family in 2026 and brings with her a love for education, faith, and serving students and families.

Roberta and her husband, Dale, have two children, Caleb and Emma, who both attended Hope Lutheran and Lutheran High School of Kansas City. Caleb is now married and lives in Wichita, while Emma recently moved to Denver. Outside of school, Roberta enjoys spending time outdoors, walking her dogs, vacationing, and settling in with a good book.
