2nd Grade Teacher, Mrs. White

Melissa White, a proud native of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, brings a wealth of passion and dedication to her role at Calvary Lutheran, where she has been teaching since 2023. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Bible and Education from Ozark Christian College (1999) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Missouri Southern State University (2002), equipping her to inspire young minds with both knowledge and compassion.

Melissa has been happily married to her husband, Mike, since 2018, and together they nurture a vibrant blended family of five children—Emma, Jessa, Luke, Nathan, and Remy. Their home is filled with love and liveliness, thanks to their dog, Charlie, their cat, Cora, and their newest addition, a kitten named Pookie. In her free time, Melissa enjoys cooking, diving into a good book, and exploring her creativity through various crafts. A devoted Disney enthusiast, she delights in planning magical family vacations, especially trips to Disney destinations. A passionate baseball fan, Melissa cheers fervently for the Kansas City Royals, bringing her infectious enthusiasm to every game.
