7th Grade Teacher, Mrs. Liu

Jennifer Liu was born in Wisconsin (Go Packers), grew up in Nebraska, and then lived in California for 23 years. She attended Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD, where she earned a B.A. in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education, and an endorsement in Middle School Math and Language Arts. In 2020, she and her family moved to Kansas City and joined Calvary Lutheran. She and her husband, Joseph, have been married for 16 years. They have two children, Sophia and Sean. Jennifer enjoys watching movies, reading, baking, and spending time with her family.

  • Drink: Coffee (iced or hot), Coke (regular, cherry or cherry vanilla) and Dr. Pepper
  • Treat: Chocolate (milk or dark), Ice cream, Cake, and Brownies
  • Snack: Cheese sticks, Fruit, Chips, and Pretzels
  • Places to Eat: Hawaiian Bros, Applebees, Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden and Jack Stack
  • Store: TpT, Target, Starbucks, and Walmart
  • School Supply: Pens, Post-its, Stickers, Stamps/stamp pads
  • Plants/ Flowers: Carnations

Least Favorite Things: Mugs, Candles (although she does like wax melts.)
