Kindergarten Teacher, Mrs. Riddle
Laurie Riddle was born and raised in Kansas City. She graduated from William Jewell College, with a BS in Elementary Education. Then earned a Master’s Degree in Reading Education from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. She has been teaching at Calvary Lutheran since 2009. Laurie has been married to her husband, Steve for 37 years. They have one son, Sam who is finishing his PhD in Chemistry. They also have Chloe, their 13 year old rescue dog. Mrs. Riddle enjoys traveling, riding bikes, gardening, hiking, shopping, and hanging out with family and friends. Her favorite sports team is the Kansas City Chiefs!

Mrs. Riddle’s Favorite Things:
- Drink: Chai Latte
- Treat: Brownies, pretty much anything chocolate!
- Snack: Nuts and popcorn
- Places to Eat: Barrio, Mildred’s, Bella Napoli. I also like trying new local places!
- Store: Anthropologie and Athleta
- School Supply: Flair felt pens, and anything that can be used for art projects.
- Plant or Flower: She LOVES all flowers and plants. Her husband calls her a plantaholic!
Least Favorite Things: She doesn’t really use coffee cups. She has sensitive skin and only uses lotions scented with essential oils. (No Bath & Body, please.)
